Overview
WatchDog reports reflect your site's performance and availability from all five monitoring stations all in real time. All reports are archived so you can view your status history any time. WatchDog reports are designed to provide you customized information about your site's uptime, daily status and downtime due to system errors. You choose the site, the report, the monitoring location and the time range and WatchDog generates comprehensive graphics and corresponding information describing your site availability.
Uptime Percent
Uptime Percent reports graphically display the percentage of total time during any given time period that your site was up, in a warning state, or in a critical state. The elapsed time of each of these states is also provided so you know to the second how often your site can be accessed.
Uptime by Hour
More specific than Uptime by Percent reports, Uptime by Hour reports allow you to track, by the hour, your site's uptime from any of our five monitoring locations. On a graph and in columns below, you get a detailed look at your site's uptime percent over the course of any day, or the average uptime percent for anytime period.
Daily State
Daily State reports are broken into two sections. A graph allows you to monitor the duration of Up Time, Warning State and Critical State over the course of any day, or the average over any given time period. Below, three columns separate the state of your site, the start time of every event and the duration of every event. This allows you to follow precisely the duration of errors and recoveries over the course of each day.
Error Summary
Error Summary reports give you a closer look at the total percentage of your site's downtime as well as specific information regarding error messages, total occurrences of error types, and elapsed downtime. This report also shows which error type occurs most often and what percent of total site downtime each error type causes.
